Dear Daegu citizens,
I am director of the Daegu Safety Theme Park.

Located in Palgongsan Mountain, the Daegu Safety Theme Park was established in response to the Daegu Subway fire disaster that occurred on February 18, 2003. Given the urgent need to build a safety experience center, the first building was built on December 29, 2008, followed by the second on November 25, 2013.

The Daegu Safety Theme Park operates various safety experience education programs, including those on subway safety, traffic safety, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, earthquake safety, and indoor fire hydrants, and plays a central role in safety education with the goal of preventing accidents by providing safety experience education on various disasters.

We pledge to serve as the leading safety experience center in order to help people prepare for various disasters, the nature of which is changing over time. In this regard, we ask for your continued interest and support.
