The second largest city in Russia, St. Petersburg has a number of well-developed industries, including finance, fossil fuel, shipbuilding, aerospace engineering, heavy industries, medicine, and publishing. As a harbor city located along the Neva River, St. Petersburg is a trade hub as well as a culture and arts city with numerous internationally recognized cultural heritages. The city also hosted the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
