Daegu Distribution Complex (DDC)

This merchandise distribution town is located in an area of 838,721 square meters in Sangyeok-dong, Buk-gu. The town is divided into five zones; Trade Center, Wholesale Complex, Enterprise Complex, Logistics Complex, and Supporting Facilities. Debec Plaza

This luxurious department store sells high quality goods, imported or domestic. There are local specialty corners, too. Visitors can visit restaurants and coffee bars, and enjoy cultural experiences in the theater and the gallery in the department store.

Dong-A Shopping Center

This grand department store, 12 stories high, with 2 underground levels, is situated in Banwoldang Junction. An abundant amount of goods for all generations are well arranged between the first and seventh floor. The underground floors house a supermarket and a parking lot. For the convenience of customers, the shopping center runs an art gallery, an event hall and other cultural places in the same building.

Seomun Market

This market has been one of the three major markets in Korea since 1669 when it was first established during the Joseon Dynasty. Moved to its present location in 1920, the market is divided into 6 zones with over 4,000 shops. Seomun Market carries various items ranging from agricultural products and fish to manufactured goods. The market is considered the best place in Korea to buy fabrics, textiles, and clothes, which are the specialties of Daegu.

Dongseong-ro Street

Dongseong-ro Street is the busiest street in the downtown of the city, packed with all kinds of stores, restaurants, cafes, bars, cinemas, and bookstores. Visitors can find the current trends of Korea in this street, where Daegu Department Store, Dong-A Department Store and Gyodong Market are all located.

Yasi-golmok Street

This street is between Goryeo Honey Shop and Finance Settlement Bureau in Samdeok-dong, a downtown area of the city. The street is arrayed with a lot of small shops of about ten square meters in size. The shops sell clothes and other fashion items that attract fashionable young ladies. Thus, the street is called Yasi-golmok, which means the street of cute fox-like ladies. With reasonably inexpensive prices, clothes in those shops are of good quality. That's why young ladies love to visit the street.
