Precautions
- Be careful when opening an indoor fire hydrant (corners, etc.)
- Be sure to avoid twisting or bending the extended hose. Keep it flat and unkinked before turning on the water.
- Be careful when connecting hoses to avoid injury from the couplings.
- When opening the valve, check whether the nozzle is ready for water discharge before opening. Never look into the nozzle when turning on the water.
- An indoor fire hydrant should always be used by at least two people as one person can be knocked over from the strength of the water pressure.
