History
History of Fire
According to Greek mythology, fire was stolen from Mount Olympus by the god who ruled over fire, who then gave it to man. Historically, it is believed that fire was first discovered from volcanoes in ancient times and was already in use during the Paleolithic era. Initially, fire was used to cook food, and later for heating and other purposes. However, while fire has been beneficial to humanity, it has also been a source of disaster. In some cases, entire civilizations have been wiped out by fire. Because of its inherent danger, fire must be wisely managed to safely take advantage of its benefits. Otherwise, it easily destroys.
